At We Care Group, we deliver professional, reliable and community-minded home and lawn maintenance services across the Central Coast. We’re looking for a Groundskeeper to join our growing team — someone who enjoys working outdoors, values teamwork, and takes pride in a tidy, well-kept environment.
💼 The Role
As a Groundskeeper, you’ll support the Senior Groundskeeper and wider maintenance team in providing high-quality lawn mowing, edging, garden maintenance, and general outdoor upkeep services for our clients.
This is a hands-on, field-based role where no two days are the same — one day you might be mowing lawns and tidying garden beds, and the next assisting with larger landscaping or clean-up jobs.
🌱 Key Responsibilities
* Carry out lawn mowing, trimming, edging, weed control, and garden maintenance
* Keep lawns, paths and garden beds clean, tidy, and safe
* Safely operate and maintain outdoor tools and equipment
* Assist with loading, unloading, and maintaining a tidy work vehicle
* Report maintenance needs, hazards or equipment faults promptly
* Deliver friendly, respectful service to clients and the community
* Always follow safety procedures and use PPE correctly

* Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for outdoor work
* Keen to learn new skills and take feedback from the Senior Groundskeeper
* Good communicator who enjoys working in a team environment
* Takes pride in presenting high-quality, consistent results
* Follows safe work practices and takes responsibility for equipment and tools
* Ideally you will live at or near The Entrance as that is where your Senior Groundskeeper is.
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
* Current Driver Licence
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* National Police Check within the last 3 months (or willingness to obtain)
* Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
* Certificate II or III in Horticulture, Parks and Gardens, or similar
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Prior experience in gardening, mowing, or outdoor maintenance
