Reporting to: Senior Bookkeeper
Are you a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper looking for a role that offers exposure to multiple jurisdictions (Australia, US, and New Zealand)?
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Bookkeeper to join our finance team. You will be responsible for executing all core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across our entities. This role is essential for maintaining the health of our financial records and supports management with timely reporting.
What You Will Do:
* Manage the full accounting cycle from daily bank reconciliations and Accounts Payable processing to weekly and monthly cashflow reporting.
* Handle comprehensive payroll duties for our Australian entities.
* Ensure critical tax compliance by preparing and submitting quarterly filings including AU GST/BAS, NZ GST, PAYG – IAS, and US Sales Tax. (NZ and US training provided if required)
* Support quarterly reporting by drafting key financial results and US Margin Reports.
* Take ownership of debt collection and contribute to overall financial efficiency.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper handling all aspects of the general ledger.
* Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Unleashed) and MS Excel.
* In-depth understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements (BAS, Payroll Tax).
* Exceptional attention to detail and a high commitment to accuracy.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
* Applicant must be based in the Geelong area, as this is an office-based role.
* Occasional out-of-hours contact required for calls to US.
