About the Role:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team at our Broken Hill site. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to contribute to a dynamic and supportive workplace.
You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, maintaining strong relationships with vendors, and supporting financial compliance and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices and payments in accordance with company policies
* Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
* Manage supplier queries and maintain positive working relationships
* Assist with month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
About You:
* Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role
* Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, fast-paced team
* Experience using Pronto ERP or similar financial systems is highly regarded
