Researcher - Decision Making and Machine Learning
This position requires a researcher with expertise in decision making and machine learning to work on an exciting Trailblazer Project.
The project involves developing novel decision making strategies using multi-agent reinforcement learning and other related approaches, with real-world testing and feedback.
* The successful applicant will work closely with A/Prof Claudia Szabo and her team to advance projects of national significance.
* The project offers opportunities for first-hand learning about the current state of drone combat and contributing to the future direction of protection mechanisms from hostile drones.
To be successful, you will need:
* A PhD (or equivalent qualification) or significant industrial experience in computer science or (applied) machine learning, decision making, and other closely related areas.
* Demonstrated expertise and experience in reinforcement learning and other machine learning techniques used for decision making.
* Strong programming skills, especially in Python and C++.
* Australian citizenship or residency status.
