Power Network Planner Role Overview
Achieve operational excellence by leading the planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance operations for power distribution networks. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your maintenance planning skills in a dynamic environment.
This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure that all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for reviewing defects, planning and scheduling works, and collaborating with delivery teams to execute maintenance tasks on schedule.
* Create and distribute comprehensive maintenance packages for power distribution network assets.
* Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure maintenance tasks are executed on time.
* Perform routine inspections and evaluations of network infrastructure to detect issues and recommend solutions.
* Analyse inspection outcomes and determine corrective measures to uphold network integrity.
* Maintain accurate asset data using systems such as Ellipse and Appian.
* Analyse maintenance records to uncover trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Offer technical expertise and support to Works Delivery Teams.
* Partner with Operations and Business units to ensure risks and hazards are effectively reported and managed.
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance scheduling and execution, along with proven experience in maintenance planning within the power distribution sector. Solid field-based experience in an electrical or utilities environment is also required. Additionally, hands-on knowledge of 19.1kV, 11kV, and 33kV distribution networks, practical experience in electrical maintenance environments, and familiarity with financial planning and cost control practices are highly regarded. Project management experience would be highly regarded. A Blue/White Card (WorkSafe Construction Safety Awareness Training) and ability to prepare clear, accurate reports are essential.
