Are you a highly motivated and reliable training professional with a passion for developing people and improving operational outcomes?
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Workplace Trainer who thrives on developing people and enhancing operational performance.
You will work closely with Senior P&C and Advisors, Operational teams and external providers to coordinate, implement and maintain training initiatives across the site. From onboarding to compliance tracking, you will play a pivotal role in building workforce capability and shaping continuous improvement.
About the role
You will be responsible for coordinating the training function across operations, working closely with managers, teams and external providers to ensure robust and compliant training practices are embedded throughout business. This is a hands-on role where your ability to manage systems, update training content, and ensure compliance is just as important as your passion for people development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Implement, and maintain the training strategy across the site;
Report to senior people & culture advisors, operational Teams, production staff and external teams;
Coordinate and support operational teams regarding all internal training requirements and monitor training effectiveness;
Review, and update training documentation, SOPs and task descriptions;
Ensure training records and systems are accurate and audit-ready;
Manage and monitoring of training matrix's;
Support onboarding, skills assessment, induction and succession planning for manufacturing teams;
Liaise with external training providers and assist with scheduling and coordination;
Assist with reporting, compliance tracking and continuous improvement projects;
Provide responsive support to supervisors and team members on training needs.
Success Profile:
Completion of Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) - essential
Cert III or IV in Meat Processing and AUS Meat credentials (desirable)
Experience in ELMO and HRIS systems;
Proven background in workplace training within food or manufacturing;
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills;
The ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with confidence;
A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to continuously improve;
Culturally aware and inclusive, with the ability to engage diverse teams;
Willingness and ability to work onsite Monday to Friday
