As a chef or cook at Mercy Health, you'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment with others who are dedicated to making a difference. You'll also enjoy a set roster, job security, and the chance to work full-time covering leave requests.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
* Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
* A food handler's certificate or equivalent
* Availability to work full shifts
* The ability to supervise daily kitchen operations and work unsupervised
* Passion for food presentation and attention to detail
You'll also be required to provide evidence of your current vaccination status and obtain relevant certifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or 3 years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
