Your role at St John of God Social OutreachWe are seeking applications for a Psychologist (grade 2) to join our Allied Health team on a permanent full-time basis in Ballarat, Victoria.You will be responsible for the development and delivery of innovative programs that provide high-level clinical care to consumers in groups and on an individual basis across a variety of acute and psychiatric specialties.The PositionProvides advanced level Psychology services including a range of individualised and group clinical care based on professional training reflecting current ethical clinical practice as required.Provides comprehensive assessment and care planning monitoring consumer progress and adjusting treatment accordingly for complex management.Liaise with a multi-disciplinary team to promote effective communication including verbal and written feedback to referring Doctors.Familiar and comply with legal and ethical responsibilities to consumers, visitors, and staff, inclusive of maintaining confidentiality.You will have experience providing group programs and individual therapy to adult consumers presenting with a myriad of concerns, demonstrate clinical leadership skills, and the ability to undertake quality improvement activities.Successful applicants will have tertiary qualifications in Psychology and current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
