Key Messaging Infrastructure Technician Role
The messaging infrastructure technician is a critical position that involves supporting the development, build and implementation of complex ICT systems. This role requires a strong understanding of messaging network documentation, reference architectures, and solutions development.
* Support the development and implementation of messaging infrastructure in complex ICT systems.
* Review and maintain associated messaging network documentation.
* Create and maintain messaging network reference architectures to support solutions development.
* Provide expert advice on messaging networks to customers and stakeholders to facilitate project definition and system architecture improvement.
* Identify innovations and improvements to messaging infrastructure that add value.
* Analyse and resolve complex issues related to messaging infrastructure.
* Develop and peer-review Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs) for messaging infrastructure.
Required Skills and Experience
* Proven experience working in defence as a messaging technician.
* Demonstrated expertise in developing, implementing and maintaining messaging infrastructure across distributed environments.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Exchange administration, Message Transfer Agents and XMPP chat tools.
