A full time contract for a Biology and Science Teacher within an Independent School based in Sydney's Inner Western Suburbs. For an experienced or early career Science/Biology teacher passionate about sciences.
- Requires a current NESA registration
- Salary guide: $82,000 - $120,000 per annum
- Sydney's North-Western suburbs
**A normal day includes**
- Teaching Year 11 and Year 12 Biology
- Teaching Junior Sciences
- Creating learning experiences and materials to deliver a set curriculum
- Supporting HSC students to meet academic requirements
- Supporting student well-being, physical, intellectual, and social development.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that meet strict NESA Curriculum requirements
- Foster a stimulating and inspirational environment that encourages and facilitates student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues in cross-disciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students

**You will need**
- Must hold a NESA Registration.
- Have a Bachelor of Education or Diploma of Education
- Must be eligible to work within Australia.
- Proven experience teaching Biology to HSC students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
