Project Director

Randstad are partnering with an established civil contractor specialising in critical energy and water infrastructure projects in the Gippsland region.

This is a site-based position requiring a commitment to safety and quality project delivery, reporting directly to the Director and Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project performance, including scheduling, budget, quality control, and successful completion of project milestones.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and understanding of civil construction methodologies, standards, and safety regulations. They must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

* Monitor and control project performance
* Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Ensure rigorous adherence to all safety protocols and manage site safety operations

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer
* Experience working on energy or water infrastructure projects up to $10 million
