Capitis Accounting Solutions – Horsham VIC
Capitis Accounting Solutions are seeking a full-time or part-time Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team in Horsham, Victoria. A formal qualification in accounting / bookkeeping is highly regarded but not essential — proven ability and experience are just as valuable, as is an interest to continue or start study in the field which we are happy to assist with.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow statements
* Completing tax returns and business activity statements for individuals and small-to-medium enterprises
* Assisting clients with tax planning and providing strategic advice
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation including bank reconciliations and providing software support
* Actively look for opportunities to help our clients grow their businesses
What we're looking for
* A broad knowledge of finance, accounting and taxation
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
* Proficient in using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks
* Exceptional communication and client‑relationship management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
