We are seeking an experienced Sonographer or dual to join a busy medical imaging department in beautiful Far North Queensland, where the rainforest meets the reef.

A little about the role: We are seeking a Sonographer or dual for a locum role from 10 November for an ongoing duration, with a strong focus on obstetric and general ultrasound.
You'll perform high-quality imaging in line with departmental checklists and protocols, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times. The department maintains a steady pace, busy but not high-volume, offering a balanced workload and strong emphasis on quality care.
All durations of 4 weeks or more will be favorably considered.
Duties you will be responsible for:
* Perform a broad range of ultrasound scans, using Canon Aplio i800 equipment.
* Always provide a high level of patient care.
* Follow the protocols and procedures of the department.
* Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
Skills and Experience:
* Demonstrated experience working in a similar position.
* Broad skill set, experienced in obstetric imaging.
* Effective communication with patients, staff, and other medical and non‐medical personnel.
* ASAR Accredited Medical Sonographer.
* Experience working in a regional hospital setting will be highly regarded.
* Ability to meet client credentialing requirements; our team will guide you through this process.
