We have a unique opportunity for dedicated Registered Nurses to become part of our Cardiac Cath Lab team within the Perioperative Services Department. We provide the flexibility for you to choose between permanent part-time employment options, allowing you to tailor your work schedule to suit your lifestyle.
Our Perioperative Services Department provides surgical services across 16 theatres, catering for adults and paediatrics with various surgical specialties. Our facilities boast brand-new state-of-the-art theatre equipment, a catheterization laboratory, separate onsite day surgery facilities as well as newly implemented robotic surgery involving the da Vinci Surgical System.
* Undertaking coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention, pacemakers, embolisation, percutaneous vascular intervention, and cardiac electrophysiology procedures in scout, scrub, and monitor capacity.
* Delivering exceptional patient care, demonstrating clinical decision-making and hands-on care skills.
* Implementing timely interventions for optimal patient outcomes through accurate clinical assessment procedures.
* Maintaining quality and risk management standards in service provision.
* Continuously developing professional growth through knowledge and skill updates.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues in a skilled team environment.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA.
* At least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting with relevant Cath Lab or Cardiac experience.
* Postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
* Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain high standards of nursing care.
* Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care outcomes.
* Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of healthcare and nursing practice.
