We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate retail leader interested in an Assistant Store Manager in our Cornetts IGA in Kuranda. You will be hands‑on in your approach and enjoy physical work; ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved. You will be required to work a rotational roster which may include nights, weekends and public holidays.
Relocation assistance will be provided.

Experience
* Experience in inventory management, including monitoring and controlling shrinkage
* Ability to drive sales, achieve budgets and exceed targets
* Experience using enterprise systems, such as BC, SAP, Oracle
* Knowledge and experience with WH&S and safety requirements
* Experience in training and coaching other team members
Skills
* Excellent communication skills, able to communicate clearly and negotiate with people from different backgrounds and roles
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
Preferred
* Retail industry experience strongly preferred
* Previous grocery experience preferred
