Job Title: Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. This role requires a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs on client aircraft to ensure compliance with regulations and technical publications.
* Accurately document all maintenance tasks, ensuring work sheets, logs, tracking systems, and other required records are completed and submitted promptly.
* Work collaboratively with managers, engineers, pilots, and emergency service teams to optimize aircraft availability and performance.
* Support base operations by preparing tasks, maintaining stores, and performing ground support equipment maintenance essential for ongoing operations.
* Maintain accountability for tool control and ensure the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of hangars, workshops, related workspaces, and vehicles.
* Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to the safety management system and other company policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
* 3+ years experience on the B200 (essential) and B350 King Air (Preferred)
* Heavy Maintenance Experience
* Experience leading an engineering team
* Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical) or Trade Certificate IV (Avionics)
* CASA licence
* Highly skilled and competent in aircraft avionic / mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components
* Strong team player
* Ability to follow supervisory direction
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude
* Passion for safe work practices
* Valid work visa
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain)
* Driver's licence
