Starting immediately and reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Manager the Business Development Executive is responsible for the promotion, sale and coordination of this hotel's guest rooms and meeting spaces. This position will suit a passionate, motivated and natural people person requiring the development of strong relationships with current and new clients, driving and securing leads whilst delivering service to corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
Predominantly responsible for selling guest rooms and meeting spaces within the assigned market segment
Building long term business relationships with new and existing clients, exceeding their expectations with a bespoke style of customer service.
Be a hotel spokesperson in presenting and selling the hotel's product and services effectively at business meetings and networking sessions.
Conduct sales activities through quality site inspections, sales visits, telephone calls and corporate entertainment.
Provide information and quotes to corporate meetings, corporate banquet events, residential and non-residential meeting groups enquiries to convert sales.
Creating proposals and agreements for clients in a timely and professional manner with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Organizes regular sales visits in accordance to a predetermined plan, presented to the Sales Manager.
Consolidating and updating competitor information and market trends.
Preparing periodic sales reports as required by the organisation for purposes of planning, performance measurement and analysis.
Responsible to achieve sales and targets set.

As a successful sales executive you should be self-motivated, focused as well as the following attributes:
Previous experience in a sales capacity - minimum 2 year. A position within a hotel is not essential but highly regarded.
Result-oriented individual and a team player with a positive attitude
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Immaculate presentation and unparalleled service delivery
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Solid negotiation and presentation skills
