About the Role
The Family Violence Support Worker plays a vital part in delivering client-centered support to adult and child victim-survivors of family violence.
This includes maintaining accurate records, coordinating referrals, managing correspondence, and assisting with data and reporting.

The primary role is to undertake tasks that directly support the Case Management teams in delivering high-quality support.

Requirements
You will hold a certificate or diploma qualification in social work, community services, community development or a related field.
A foundational understanding of the drivers, dynamics and impacts of family violence is essential.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to develop skills in work with adults, young people, and children from diverse backgrounds facing complex challenges in relation to family violence, homelessness, health and mental health, drug and alcohol use, trauma, and marginalization is also required.
