Field Service Technician / Agricultural Mechanic – On-Farm Service (Elite Service Team)
About the Role
As a Field Service Technician, you'll represent Farm Tech out on the road — working predominantly on-farm across eastern Australia to service, diagnose, and repair machinery.
You'll work hands-on with our locally manufactured Ausmix Feed Mixer, along with a range of quality agricultural equipment. No two days are the same — you'll support farmers directly, solve real-world problems, and keep critical machinery running when it matters most.

We're growing our Elite Service Team and are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician / Agricultural Mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship, exceptional service, and backing machinery in real on-farm conditions.
What You'll Do
* On-Farm Service and Repairs: Perform on-site servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural machinery, particularly Feed Mixers and equipment to serve the Beef and Dairy industry.
* Mechanical Diagnostics: Apply mechanical expertise to troubleshoot faults and get machines running efficiently.
* Preventative Maintenance: Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections to minimise downtime and maximise machine performance.
* Customer Support: Work directly with farmers, providing clear advice, and practical solutions in on-farm environments.
* Represent Our Brand: Represent Farm Tech as a professional, reliable Ag Mechanic in the field, maintaining our reputation for service excellence.
* Stay Connected: Collaborate with our Service and Technical Team for support, resources, and shared knowledge.
What You'll Bring
* Trade Qualification: Agricultural Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, or similar.
* Ag Equipment Experience: Experience working with agricultural machinery.
* Strong Mechanical Knowledge: Confidence working with hydraulics, PTO systems, mechanical assemblies, and fault diagnosis.
* On-Farm Readiness: Comfortable working independently in farm environments and travelling as required.
* Customer Focused: Professional, reliable, and able to build trust with customers through quality workmanship and communication.
* Licences: Current driver's licence, plus a forklift licence and MR licence (or willingness to obtain).
