Direct Care Worker
As a Direct Care Worker working on a casual basis, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the comfort, well‐being, and dignity of those in our care.
Responsibilities
* Supporting personal care, hygiene, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers
* Assisting with glasses, hearing aids, and self‐administration of medication
* Helping with routine treatments and special needs
* Distributing clean laundry and attire, and maintaining equipment and personal items
* Providing transportation for clients
Qualifications
* Ability to work effectively within teams and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds
* Competence in general tasks under supervision while maintaining confidentiality
* Willingness to support elderly, frail, or disabled individuals; on‐the‐job training provided
