About The Role
There are two fixed-term (12 months), full-time positions at 1.0 FTE/80 hours per fortnight within the Physiotherapy Department. These positions are available for new graduate physiotherapists to undertake a graduate year, commencing in late January/early February 2026.
As part of the Paediatric Rotation Program (PRP), you will provide physiotherapy services to children and adolescents as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will ensure that physiotherapy services are innovative, evidence-informed and provided in a child and family centred context.
What You'll Achieve
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy services to patients referred by designated units, in collaboration with supervising clinicians.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure delivery of a holistic, streamlined approach to care that best meets the needs of the patient and their family.
- Work in a flexible manner and participate in other duties as allocated, consistent with skill level to ensure adequate cover and clinical care across the whole Physiotherapy Department service.
- Achieve and maintain competency in relevant skills in line with departmental requirements relevant to the role.
Your Skills And Experience
- Hold a Physiotherapy degree qualification from an accredited course/university and registration to practice as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
- Have no more than six months of experience working as a graduated Physiotherapist.
- Successful completion of physiotherapy placements in large hospitals with high acuity caseloads.

- Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain
- Compliance with RCHs 'Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases' procedure
