The role reports to the ANZ Financial Controller.The RoleProvide financial support to all areas of the ANZ business, focusing on commercial rigor and stakeholder engagement. This includes detailed analysis and business review for senior leadership, providing timely, clear, and accurate financial information.Manage monthly profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reporting, preparation of statutory accounts, and audits (internal and external).Collaborate with offshore GL and Reconciliation teams to meet reporting deadlines and ensure compliance with Travelex’s Group Financial Policies.Engage proactively with business partners during forecasting and budgeting cycles, conducting regular business reviews to monitor variances.Perform other ad-hoc analysis as required.About YouFinancial & Commercial AcumenUniversity degree from a recognized institution.2+ years of professional experience in finance-related functions, commercial finance, management accounting, data, or business analytics.Strong understanding of P&L reporting, financial modeling (budgets and forecasts), and business performance analysis.Ability to interpret key business drivers and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Data Analytics & ReportingExceptional MS Excel skills for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and providing insights. (Assessment may be conducted.)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex data.Experience with SQL for data extraction and BI tools like Quicksight is a plus.Technical & System KnowledgeExperience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Business PartneringAbility to translate complex data into clear narratives to influence stakeholders.Strong interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders across functions.Connect insights across segments for a holistic performance view.Strategic Thinking & Problem-SolvingCurious, proactive, and able to identify opportunities quickly.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, balancing short-term and long-term goals.Work autonomously and in teams.
