About the role
As a successful applicant you will possess excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills and thrive in working as part of a flexible and supportive team as we grow into a busy practice at the heart of the community. Previous experience working in a Radiology practice environment would be highly desirable.
This role will require
* Reception, welcoming and processing patients
* Scheduling and managing patient appointments
* Following up medical information with referrers, allied health and third parties
* Managing telephone enquiries
* Supporting the Radiologists
* Working with Radiographers/ Sonographers & Radiologists
* Fast accurate medical typing
Skills and experience
* High standards of personal presentation.
* A professional, patient and courteous manner
* Excellent telephone manner
* Strong communication skills – written and verbal
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Knowledge of the Medical Benefits Schedule
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
* Strong multitasking and prioritisation capabilities
* Fast accurate medical typing - optional
