Project Planner
About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Planner to join their Tendering team. This role will see you taking ownership of the scheduling function across a range of construction and building projects. You'll be responsible for turning drawings and design documentation into project schedules, monitoring performance against targets, and supporting teams with accurate programme information.
What You'll Be Doing
* Create and maintain detailed construction schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
* Develop tender programs and methodologies, outlining milestones, durations, dependencies, and potential risks.
* Monitor progress against the baseline schedule, including regular site checks and progress reporting.
* Assist in preparing and substantiating delay or extension of time claims.
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to validate timelines and keep activities on track.
* Analyse project data and past performance to identify trends and recommend ways to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
* Degree-qualified in construction, civil engineering, or a related field.
* At least 4 years' experience in project planning or project controls within the construction sector.
* Strong technical knowledge of scheduling, critical path logic, and programme analysis.
* Proficiency with Primavera P6 or other planning software
* Familiarity with project cost management processes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
