We are currently accepting applications for a permanent full-time Fishing Reel Technician to work onsite, with Shimano Australia Fishing in Caringbah. The primary duties will include but are not limited to. Servicing and repairing of fishing reels to the highest possible standard. Identifying fishing reel faults, failures and assist other team members to repair reels. To work together as a team to meet minimum turnaround times for reel repairs. Effectively and professionally communicate with customers via phone, email and in person. Contribute to identifying parts substitution. Ensure data integrity to assist in stock level management for spare parts. To be successful in this role you will need to have: Strong knowledge of Shimano products specifically reels. Participates in recreational fishing regularly and can successfully demonstrate knowledge and genuine awareness of fishing tackle Mechanically minded, ability to diagnose, read schematics, undertake mechanical repairs, action mechanical faults and problem solve independently. Demonstrate high attention to detail and take pride in work. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer centric attitude Proficient in Microsoft Office Prior experience in servicing of fishing reels or working in a similar workshop is highly regarded. This position would suit an individual who is mechanically minded and familiar with Shimano fishing products / equipment.
