We’re currently seeking a dedicated Fitter and Turnerto play a key role in crafting our innovative HMPS Propac products. In this role, you’ll be responsible for general fitting and machining dutiesto create our exceptional machinery, execute modifications to existing customer machines and assist with installation and commissioning.
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Trade Qualification – Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Skill and Precision – Strong experience in mechanical, pneumatic and electrical assembly including the use of hand and fixed power tools.
- Team Collaboration – A friendly team player who values explicit communication.
- Dedication to Quality – A commitment to seeing each project through to success.
- Experience Advantage – Previous experience in machinery manufacturing is a bonus.
- Technical Expertise – Proficiency in reading and applying engineering drawings.
- Safety First – Adherence to all safety standards and practices.
- Problem-Solving – The ability to think on your feet and present practical solutions.
It'd be great if you also have:
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations or servicing
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
- Flexibility for occasional overtime or weekend work
- A valid driver’s licence
