About the role
This full-time Business Development Manager role with Independent Living Specialists' in Virginia, Queensland offers an exciting opportunity to drive the growth and success of a leading provider of independent living solutions. As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
What you'll be doing
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory
Engage with potential clients to understand their requirements and present customised solutions
Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for additional services
Collaborate with the wider sales and customer service teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's sales and marketing strategies
Provide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and performance
What we're looking for
Proven track record of success in a business development or account management role, ideally within the healthcare or disability services sector
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and address client needs
Experience in developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies
Familiarity with the independent living and disability services industry, including relevant regulations and compliance requirements
A customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed
