Our expansion and success have placed us in need of an experienced technician to join our team.
About the role:
We are currently seeking an Appliance Service Technician/Electrician to join our service team on a full-time basis Monday to Friday with overtime available if desired. Work will predominately be based on customer sites which include but are not limited to Aged Care, Hotels & Motels, Childcare Centres, Caravan Parks, Laundromats, Residential Homes, and Government facilities. There is also a warehouse component to the role.
Reporting to the State Manager you will be operating independently but part of a national experienced team where customer support is their primary focus.
About you?
Ideally, we are seeking someone with the following attributes and skills:
* Electrical/Gas or Appliance background preferred
* Trade qualification in electrical or gas fitting
* Trade Background/Mechanical Aptitude/Troubleshooting Experience
* 1-2 years of appliance repair experience
* Current drivers license
* Eager to learn and able to take instructions
* Physically fit due to the nature of the role
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Willingness to travel away regionally for 1-4 nights occasionally
