About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our R&D team focused on the development and optimization of electrochemical technologies.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
* Design and develop electrochemical systems, including reactors, cells, and supporting infrastructure.
* Conduct materials selection and analysis for electrodes, membranes, electrolytes, and catalysts.
* Scale lab-based prototypes to pilot or pre-commercial systems.
* Analyze electrochemical performance using techniques such as EIS, LSV, CV, and chronoamperometry.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical engineers, data scientists, and process chemists.
* Support intellectual property generation and contribute to patent filings and publications.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering and thermodynamics.
* Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and laboratory-scale electrochemical setups.
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Desirable Expertise and Attributes
* Experience in electrochemical systems such as fuel cells, batteries, electrolyzers, or redox flow systems.
* Knowledge of green ammonia, CO2 utilization, or electrosynthesis of fuels/chemicals.
* Familiarity with pilot plant design or industrial scale-up.
* Understanding of safety, regulatory, and environmental aspects of electrochemical processes.
* Industry experience in cleantech, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
