Join Our Team – Casual Disability Support Workers (Support Coaches)
Are you passionate about making a difference? Wallara is looking for Casual Disability Support Coaches to join our Accommodation (Live) division and help empower people with different abilities to live their best lives
In this role, you'll support residents to live independently and confidently, travel to work, engage in their community, and enjoy recreation activities they love. Every day is an opportunity to create meaningful experiences and drive social change
Please note: Available shifts will include mornings, afternoons, weekends, overnight (sleepover), and public holidays. Flexibility and availability across these times is essential to be considered .
We also require flexibility to work across multiple locations, including Dandenong, Noble Park, Narre Warren, Pakenham, and Aspendale.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in the disability sector and supporting clients with diverse needs and goals
A genuine passion for empowering people with disabilities to achieve their best – bring your unique talents to their journey
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and resolve issues effectively
Advocacy for inclusion and a commitment to delivering person-centred support that exceeds standards – think creatively
Strong administration and computer skills to ensure accurate documentation
Resourcefulness and innovation in creating opportunities – help us make social change happen
Experience in implementing individualised plans
Great time management and the ability to think on your feet
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A professional approach and commitment to exceptional service delivery
Understanding of WHS, EEO, Cultural Diversity principles and relevant legislation
Certificate III or IV in Disability (highly desirable).
Must haves
Right to work in Australia
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Certificate in First Aid Level 2 + CPR.
