South Australia Police (SAPOL) is seeking a Training Officer to join the Mobility Transformation Portfolio on a 2-year fixed-term contract. Location: ADELAIDE, SA. Job reference:. Job status: Long Term Contract. Eligibility: Open to Everyone. 
An excellent opportunity to contribute to SAPOL’s Mobility Transformation Portfolio (MTP), delivering the Mobile and Digital Workforce Programs. The Training Officer will design and deliver training plans, both face-to-face and online, to Police Officers across the state, in collaboration with Change Leads. 
Your new role 
As a Training Officer in the Mobility Transformation Portfolio, you’ll work with the Change Leads to: 
- Design and create end-to-end training programs, artefacts, and materials 
- Deliver training to Police Officers statewide, via face-to-face and online methods 
- Engage with stakeholders to conduct a training needs analysis 
- Develop and implement structured training programs and high-level training strategies for a program or project 
- Collaborate with sworn officers across South Australia

What You’ll Need To Succeed 
- Demonstrated experience in training analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation 
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation, stakeholder management, engagement, and relationship skills; ability to work with people at all levels and to produce high-quality written reports 
- Proven ability to plan, develop, and implement structured training programs and high-level, future-focused training strategies for a program or project 
- Experience in applying project management principles and methodologies 
- Ability to research, gather information from multiple sources, check for errors, and ensure content is contemporary and accurate 
- Ability to analyse training data to develop or improve programs 
- Ability to work under broad direction in a highly organized manner with responsibility, judgment, and delegated authority in resolving complex problems per policies and procedures 
- Highly organized and detail-focused, with timeline discipline 
- Some state-based travel is required

- Current Australian work eligibility status and a criminal history check 
- May be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent 
- Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required 
- Participation in SAPOL’s iEngage program 
Salary 
ASO6 - $98,478 - $104,165 per annum.
