You will play an integral role in developing health technology assessment (HTA) submissions, and there will be opportunities to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.What You Will DoResponsibilities include, however not limited to:Support key market access strategies and associated dossiers to ensure the optimal and timely reimbursement of our company's medicines, and vaccine.Collaborating with the market access team and cross functional colleagues to develop high-quality, innovative market access dossiers. With the aim to optimize value, whilst enhancing and expanding access to medicines and vaccines for Australian and New Zealand populations.Conducting evidence-based medicine analyses, which may involve epidemiological studies, systematic literature reviews, assessment of clinical efficacy, and economic evaluations.Prepare clinical and economic evidence to support reimbursement or pricing submissions, including development of access / outcomes research studies to address identified needsPartnering closely with various local and global internal stakeholders such as medical, regulatory, public affairs, pricing, patient engagement, communications, and commercial teams to ensure cross-functional collaboration.Proactively monitor current and future environments including competitors to identify risks and opportunities or assessments to ensure timely information of the evolving access landscape and payer HTA environments in Australia and New Zealand.Support and input into key aspects of the reimbursement process including post recommendation processes for listing and online administration with key health stakeholders.What You Must haveSkills and experience required:Post-graduate degree in health economics, epidemiology, public health/policy or health sciences would be an advantageSuitable undergraduate degree in life sciences and/or health economicsWritten and oral communication skills; competence with key software programs (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Endnote or other reference management software)Results-focussed and self-motivatedStrategy development and implementationInterpersonal effectiveness, particularly in working productively under pressure with stakeholdersProject and time-management skills - able to handle multiple tasks under time pressureTechnical capabilities in health economics, including submissions and outcomes research would be considered an advantage.Training in epidemiology, economic modelling and/or statistics is desirableKey competencies:A foundational understanding of local (ANZ) regulations and processes including any or all the following: PBAC, MSAC, PHARMAC and ATAGI.Experience relevant to market access and/or health outcomes research, with the ability to understand and critically appraise technical information (Publications, CSR's, treatment comparisons, treatment guidelines and Health Technology Assessments) for new medicines/ therapeutic areas and expansion of indications.Experience in multiple therapy areas would be valued including but not limited to oncology, immunology, general medicines and vaccinesWhat You Can ExpectWork autonomously whilst being supported, encouraged and being part of a trusted Global leading pharmaceutical organisationExposure to upskill and develop in your roleFlexibility and opening doors to other opportunities and skillsetsJoining a collaborative team of likeminded individuals We are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing diverse, talented, and committed people together.
