Senior Insolvency Manager | Sydney This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse range of engagements across corporate insolvency, restructuring and recovery. Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of appointments from commencement through to completion, oversee junior staff, and play a key role in delivering practical outcomes for clients and stakeholders. You will be responsible for independently managing engagements including Voluntary Administrations (VA), Deeds of Company Arrangement (DOCA), Liquidations, and restructuring matters, while providing direction and workflow management to junior team members. Key Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate a portfolio of insolvency and restructuring engagements from appointment through to completion • Prepare and review statutory reports, investigations and financial analysis • Conduct investigations into insolvent entities' financial affairs and business operations • Analyse financial statements, accounting records and business performance • Prepare financial models, cash flow forecasts and stakeholder reporting • Assist with trade-on administrations, budgeting and operational reviews • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including ASIC lodgements • Liaise with directors, creditors, financiers, legal advisers and other stakeholders • Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members • Identify business development opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the practice About You • CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Law or a related discipline • 5 years' experience within corporate insolvency and restructuring • Demonstrated ability to independently run VA, DOCA and Liquidation engagements • Previous experience managing and developing junior staff • Strong financial analysis and financial modelling capabilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management abilities • Experience using Core IPS, Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks is highly regarded • Candidates with restructuring, advisory or forensic/investigative accounting experience are also encouraged to apply What's on Offer • Competitive salary package with monthly performance bonuses • Flexible work arrangements, including work-from-home options • Professional development support, including CAANZ, CPA and ARITA memberships • Clear career progression opportunities within a growing specialist firm • Exposure to a broad range of complex insolvency, restructuring and advisory engagements • Supportive and collaborative team environment focused on professional growth and technical excellence If you're looking for an opportunity to take the next step in your insolvency career and work on a diverse range of challenging engagements.
