At Ettamogah Hotel we pride ourselves on being a warm, welcoming, and vibrant venue that caters to all occasions. From birthday parties to corporate events and everything in between, we’re passionate about providing exceptional service and unforgettable experiences. We’re now looking for a dynamic and driven Functions Sales Manager to join our team and help us grow our events business.
As the Functions & Sales Manager, your main responsibility will be to promote and sell our pub as the perfect venue for functions and events. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, helping them plan their perfect occasion while ensuring all aspects of their event run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Actively promote and sell the pub’s function spaces to individuals, groups, and businesses.
* Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and social media.
* Conduct site visits and showcase the venue to prospective clients.
* Work closely with the team to ensure events are executed to the highest standard.
* Develop and maintain relationships with repeat and potential customers.
* Create and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
* Promote Hotel by meet and greets to companies around the local area.
* Event Planning

What You’ll Need
* Proven experience in sales, hospitality, or events coordination.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
* A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.
