The Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and safety within the Plant team.

* Administrative responsibilities include processing plant requests, managing plant movements, and scheduling assets in the asset management database.
Responsibilities also involve coordinating logistics for plant and equipment, including customer requests and delivery to/from sites. The incumbent will ensure effective maintenance of the facility and implementation of safety, quality, and environmental controls.

* Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks related to plant requests, work orders, and inventory management.
* Collaborating with Plant Superintendent and Mechanical Supervisor to ensure availability of materials, plant, and equipment.
* Utilizing effective time management skills, including sequencing of own work and resource allocation.
Requirements for Success

* A Higher school certificate and/or trade certificate in a mechanical field would be advantageous.
* Mechanical trade qualifications or tertiary studies in procurement/inventory would be beneficial.
* At least 3 years' experience in logistics/construction/plant hire or a similar commercial environment is required.
* Experience with Asset and/or Inventory Management systems is essential.
Key Skills and Qualifications

* Knowledge of relevant administrative practices.
* Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Exposure to Financial budgets, Asset Management systems, and Plant & Equipment Fleet maintenance.
