This role will provide an efficient clerical support service and contribute to the provision of a high quality, cost effective pathology service to clients of Pathology Queensland. This role will primarily focus on medical typing with variable adhoc hours covering both known leave and emergent leave. The position is casual only. Why work with us? Key competencies (role specific criteria) You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following: Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in medical typing and computer programs relevant to duties. Demonstrated ability to work to professional standards without direct supervision and to organise and prioritise the administrative workload of a Group Co-ordinating Laboratory. Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills and a high level of interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. A demonstrated commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement.
