**Civil Construction Manager** who has an exceptional leadership ability to join the business Make this a landmark career role, as you work your way through a recently awarded project with a global resources client.
Your primary goal is simple - Playing a senior role on the project, you will lead the Civil Construction team, project budgets and resources while providing support to staff and stakeholders to deliver key project milestones against time, scope, and budget success measures.
You will play a role in the Senior Leadership team, promoting the culture, vision and goals amongst teams across all disciplines.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ply your trade to be trusted with:
**You will be trusted with**:
- Ensuring budget, resource and other business forecasts are prepared as required for the Construction team
- Planning, execution, and finalisation of earthwork packages according to strict deadlines and within budget across the full project life cycle.
- Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver works according to plan
- Providing leadership to the Construction team by building and motivating members to meet or exceed project objectives, adhering to their responsibilities and achieving project milestones
- Preparation and implementation of the Construction Management Plan for all phases of the project
- Manage the day-to-day project activities, resources and project budgets
- Ensure status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating is delivered across leadership
- Preparation of fee proposals for new projects and contract variations that may span multiple disciplines
- Provide definition of the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle
- Preparation of works contracts
**What's In Your Toolbox?**
You are an exceptional communicator, collaborative and are a natural problem solver Your ability to translate technical complexities, your analytical approach, and your keen eye for detail will be great assets as you work towards successful solution outcomes
You will have at least 10 + Industry experience and hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
- Strong background in Civil Engineering preferably with a Civil Contractor background
- Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques
- Experience using MS office and MS Project
