From early-stage planning through to relinquishment, we’re helping reshape the future of mining — and we’re looking for people who want to be part of that transformation.Responsibilities:Strategic Growth InitiativesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Okane’s strategic objectives in Australia and New Zealand. Engage with industry events and associations to anticipate emerging market needs and contribute to regional growth plans.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and sustain long-term, trust-based relationships with key clients by understanding their business needs, providing ongoing value, and facilitating feedback loops. Act as the voice of the client internally to ensure their priorities are reflected in service delivery.Proposal SupportLead the response to compelling Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and the development of client-specific Statements of Qualifications (SOQs). Contribute to compelling proposals, ensuring submissions align with client requirements and Okane’s commercial risk tolerance.Contract Negotiation and Agreement SupportLead commercial discussions with clients, ensuring that contractual terms align with both client needs and internal risk management standards. Collaborate with contract management and operations teams to finalize agreements that support long-term partnerships.Regional Strategic PartnershipsForge collaborative relationships with key stakeholders such as government agencies, industry leaders, consultants, and research and academic institutions. Identify and formalize collaboration agreements that create long-term value for both parties.Marketing and Community PresenceLocalize and activate global or regional marketing initiatives in Australia and New Zealand. Coordinate Okane’s presence at conferences and support community engagement efforts. Work closely with the marketing team to maintain messaging alignment.Expectations for this Role:You’re meeting (or exceeding) regional revenue targets and maintaining a robust, well-qualified sales pipeline.Clients view you as a strategic partner — someone who understands their business and helps them solve long-term challenges.You’re supporting high quality proposals that elevate our win rate, and you are leading commercial Agreements aligned with both client expectations and Okane’s standards.You’re a consistent, credible presence at industry events.You model Okane’s Core Values in every client interaction and are a trusted voice within the team.You actively integrate health, safety and environmental considerations into every aspect of your work.
