The role

Full Time Fixed Term (up to 5 years)

Senior remuneration package starting from $ p.a. (inclusive of superannuation)

Charles Sturt University is seeking a strategic and visionary leader to join our Division of Information Technology as Director Service Management. This senior role is central to modernising our ICT operating model, enhancing service delivery and driving a customer‑focused approach across the University.

As Director Service Management you'll lead the teams responsible for infrastructure networks, systems and ICT security, ensuring our technology environment is robust, reliable and future‑ready. If you thrive in managing complex systems and safeguarding digital assets this is your opportunity to protect and power the core of our ICT operations. Your leadership will drive resilience, performance and trust in every digital interaction across the University.

We're looking for a passionate leader to join us on one of our vibrant regional campuses. If you're not currently located within a reasonable commuting distance, we will happily support your relocation. Our core teams are based in Albury‑Wodonga, Bathurst and Wagga Wagga, offering a collaborative and community‑focused environment where your contribution will make a real impact. Other campus locations will be reviewed upon request.


About you

* Experience in managing large‑scale service delivery functions in complex environments
* A strong understanding of ITIL service management frameworks and digital transformation
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a commitment to collaboration and innovation
* The ability to align technology services with strategic priorities and deliver measurable outcomes
