About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Design Specialist to join our team of passionate engineers and project managers in our Newcastle office. The role will involve working on a variety of projects, collaborating with design engineers and maintaining design templates and drawing standards.
* Import & manipulate vendor drawings/models
* Collaborate with the design engineers to deliver concept and detailed design models and drawings
* Maintain design templates and drawing standards
About You
You will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is seeking fulfillment through autonomy, career flexibility, and working for a business that provides purpose and relevance in what you do. To succeed in this role, you will have experience working in a consulting environment, delivering projects as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-office team.
* Enrolled in or have completed a relevant qualification: Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or Certificate IV/Diploma in Civil Construction Design
* Experience with CAD software
* Familiarity with technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail
* Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
