*About the role*
Due to growth and internal promotions, we have a great opportunity for a Full Time Operations Planner to join our Operations team and work in our Melbourne St Kilda Road Office.
We are looking for someone with a systematic thought process, able to challenge the status quo and has the ability to listen, communicate and relate to others on a personal and professional level.
*A day in the role, what does it look like?*
Each day is unique. One morning you can work on a strategic territory design and within the hour you'll be on the phone speaking to our field team members trying to resolve some field related issues.
While the role is highly dynamic, we do have a clear idea of our topline goals which is all about delivering commercial optimisation without compromising people.
Reporting to the Operations Manager ANZ, the key responsibilities are as per below:
* Production timing is key to our success. This role will require you to work closely with our Client Services and Field teams to maintain our weekly production rhythm
* Travel efficiencies are key to our field team day to day deliveries. The more efficient they are, the quicker we can turn things around. To help us deliver efficiencies, you will be working on territory design and apply some science in the way you allocate work to the field team.
* Data is key for our clients. Your understanding on our CRM workflow will help our Client Services deliver successful reporting for our partners. Therefore, you will need to be the subject matter expert on the link of our CRM system and how it impacts our field team.
* The usual – meetings, con calls, chats, fun, laughter and Friday afternoon drinks. We also provide free barista coffees, breakfast, soft drinks and snacks
Ideally you will bring with you around 2 years of experience within the retail supply chain or logistics-based role.
