Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Major Functions
Perform a wide range of duties including being the first point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing enquiries via telephone, email, and mail, mail distribution, receipting deliveries, procurement of office supplies, and other front office tasks.
Provide complex administrative and clerical support for the organisation, particularly the legal department, including preparing documents and correspondence, compiling, vetting, and lodging legal documents, witnessing legal documents, data entry, detailed record-keeping, file management, record archiving, and database maintenance.
Support various tasks promptly and accurately in accordance with procedures, such as booking appointments, raising customer invoices, managing information for Daily Deaths processes, advertising, and assisting with training less experienced staff.
Perform any other duties as requested by departments within the employee’s competency and training.
Pre-employment Requirements
The Head of State Service requires candidates to satisfy pre-employment checks, including:
National Police Record checks for offences such as arson, violent crimes, sex offences, drug offences, dishonesty, malicious damage, traffic offences, and crimes against public order or law enforcement.
Disciplinary action in previous employment.
Identification verification.
Desirable Requirements
Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Business (Legal Services), or relevant experience.
