About the role
As a Youth Worker, you will be responsible for monitoring family visits between children and their families. From time to time, you may also be required for transportation or mentoring to children. The shift pattern is across 7 days and will including morning shifts, afternoons/evenings, and weekends. This casual opportunity is supporting the Far North NSW region.
Role Requirements
* Certificate 4 in Community Services, Youth Work, or other relevant qualifications to the industry.
* Current Unrestricted Full Drivers Licence.
* Comprehensively insured vehicle, child lock system and back seat capacity.
* Current First Aid and CPR and/or willing to obtain.
* Confident in using a variety computer systems and outlook.
* Previous experience working with children and young people.
* Passion & commitment to improving the quality of life, skills and independence of children and young people.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children
