Job Title: Operations Manager
The primary role of the Operations Manager is to oversee the delivery of civil construction, maintenance, facilities management and plant/fleet operations.
* This senior leadership position will lead and develop large teams of skilled and semi-skilled staff across various disciplines.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for managing significant operational budgets and resource allocation, as well as performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* To oversee the delivery of projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders including clients, suppliers and contractors.
* To manage and develop a team of operations managers and supervisors.
* To identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
* To maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior leadership position.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
