Job Description
We are seeking a senior financial leader to join our team at Mondrian Gold Coast. As a key member of the Executive Committee, you will partner closely with the GM and senior leaders to drive performance and provide strategic financial insights.
About the Role
* Review the Resort Day Pack to ensure policies & procedures are followed
* Approve requisitions in Purchase Plus for the Resort
* Review & approve journals posted in SUN by the Finance team
* Authorize and sign all outgoing payments in conjunction with the General Manager
* Oversee and assist with AR, AP, Payroll & Cashiering functions as needed
* Manage end-of-month processes, including posting journals, reviewing P&L for correct coding, and reconciling balance sheet accounts
* Reconcile revenue in the accounting system to Opera PMS
* Review payroll, conduct payroll system audits, and check Super Stapling
* Approve weekly/fortnightly Accounts Payable payments
* Oversee weekly payroll productivity meetings

Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior financial role, preferably in hospitality
* A proactive, strategic mindset with pragmatic leadership
* CA or CPA qualification with a strong financial background
* Excellent business partnering, stakeholder management, and communication skills
