What you will be doing:
* Making games with a diverse team of Game Designers, Artists, Sound Designers and Engineers.
* Creating graphic compositions, logos, symbol illustrations, menus, UIs and buttons.
* Brainstorming and conceptualising ideas (producing concept sketches and quick concept edits).
* Working with Game Designers to implement the team's vision of the game.
* Collaborating with art team regarding best practices and processes relating to game development.
* Contributing to process improvements to increase productivity and the visual quality of the games.
* Keeping informed of new graphic techniques, trends, and styles in the industry.
Your strengths:
* Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience.
* 2+ years of professional experience in a related field.
* Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, with a key focus on Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Highly skilled in traditional art and digital illustration.
* Collaborate with the Game Design team to create functional art.
* Excellent knowledge and application of design theory.
* Ability to create art for all game aspects (screen layout, symbol sets, etc.) with minimal guidance.
* Proactive in planning, prioritisation and time management with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Follow guidelines and directions from the Art Director.
Also would be great if you...
* Have traditional 2D animation experience.
* Have experience using Blender or a 3D software package
* After Effects and Alienbrain experience is a plus.
* Experience with Unity or other game engines.
* Have previous slot gaming industry experience.
* Interest in games and/or game development
