An exciting opportunity exists to join the Internal Audit and Risk Team as a Team Support Officer. The role provides effective, efficient administrative support by building positive relationships across CHHHS and working collaboratively with the workforce and IAR team. Responsibilities include data entry, system administration, meeting coordination, preparing and updating reports and briefs, and general administrative duties.
About us:
The Internal Audit and Risk Team are responsible for:
* Undertaking Internal Audit services on behalf of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Board and executive.
* Liaising with external assurance providers including the Queensland Audit Office.
* Developing and overseeing implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and associated systems and processes.

About your role:
* Act as first point of contact for the IAR team – responsible for managing, prioritising and delegating calls and emails for the work group.
* Coordinate appointments and room bookings for IAR meetings with relevant staff and external stakeholders.
* Work with a high level of independence, utilising discretion in the absence of decision makers by establishing work priorities to meet deadlines. Work with the IAR team to support continuous improvement to achieve team outcomes.
* Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Office 365 capability and Queensland Health information systems (e.g.: MyHR, S4/HANA etc.).
