**THE ROLE**
Due to an internal promotion, Beaumont Tiles is seeking a highly capable and commercially minded Head of Finance to lead our national finance function.
This is a key leadership role, offering broad exposure across all facets of the business and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making at the highest level.
Reporting to the CFO, you’ll oversee a skilled team and take full responsibility for financial reporting, compliance, planning, capital modelling, governance, and risk.
You’ll also play a pivotal role in supporting major projects, including ERP implementation and capital investment projects.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead, mentor and develop the national finance team including payroll
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and return on capital initiatives
- Deliver accurate board, statutory, and tax reporting
- Manage external audits and uphold governance standards
- Liaise with Bunnings and Wesfarmers Group Accounting and Tax teams
- Drive continuous improvement and financial systems transformation
- Support key strategic projects, including capital investment modelling and legal reviews
**YOU**
You are a confident and experienced finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
You bring both strategic thinking and hands-on expertise, with a proven ability to lead teams, deliver high-quality financial outcomes, and influence business direction.
You will also have:
- Full membership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or CPA Australia (CA or CPA required)
- Experience in a senior finance role
- Strong technical knowledge across financial reporting, taxation, capital modelling, and governance
- Proven ability to lead high-performing finance teams
- Experience managing external audits, compliance obligations, and risk frameworks
- Demonstrated success working within large or complex business structures, ideally with exposure to group reporting environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the business
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and leading systems or process improvement initiatives
- Commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically while remaining detail-oriented
