Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is a well-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that has been supporting the Broome community for over 40 years. Headquartered in Broome, Western Australia, BRAMS provides holistic, culturally safe primary healthcare, aged care, and community programmes for Aboriginal people throughout the Kimberley region.

With a strong focus on person‐centred, trauma‐informed, and culturally responsive care, BRAMS delivers services designed around the needs of Aboriginal individuals and families. Their multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively to improve health outcomes and promote wellbeing across the lifespan.

BRAMS is proud to operate under the vision: Healthy People – Strong Community – Bright Future, and upholds a model of care rooted in cultural respect, quality, and community leadership.

Your Next Chapter Starts Here

In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic, person‐centred care that supports individuals, families, and community across all stages of life. This is a relationship‐driven role; success comes from building trust, listening deeply, and working alongside people to ensure individuals are empowered to make their own choices in a way that respects their culture, values, and lived experience.

* Facilitate group programmes and individual sessions that strengthen wellbeing and connection
* Support individuals and families through important life transitions with care and sensitivity
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to deliver integrated support
* Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in line with programme requirements

Is This You?

To succeed, you will hold a degree in social work (or equivalent) and hold (or be eligible for) membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). You will also have demonstrated experience working in aged care, disability, mental health, or community services, with a strong foundation in person‐centred and culturally safe practice.

Highly Valued
