MEGA Resources is a mine owner with an in-house service team which has two operating gold mines in Western Australia.
MEGA stands for Mining, Engineering and Geology in Australia.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Mine Geologist to join our team.
As a key member of the Geology Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality geological services aimed at optimising operational efficiency and maximising ore recovery.

Work Location : We are seeking candidates for both Mt Celia and Rama Gold
Salary : $110k - $150k (this salary is dependent on experience level)
Responsibilities
Daily / Monthly production / geological data validation and reporting.
Geological and geo technical mapping.
Designing and supervising drill programs.
Designing and marking up ore blocks.
Logging of diamond and RC drilling.
Collaborating with engineers to develop efficient mine plans with a focus on ore recovery.
Collaborating with operators / supervisors to implement mine plans.
Monthly and PTD block model reconciliation.
About You
BSc degree or MSc in Geology / Geoscience
2-5 years experience as a mine geologist
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Experience in various mining software e.g., Surpac, Leapfrog, etc.
